BROWN BAG VIRTUAL TRAINING

The 2012 Brown Bag Season will kick off on Wednesday 11 January at 12:10 Eastern Time. PLEASE NOTE THE TIME CHANGE – we slipped it an hour to accommodate our West Coast participants.
Registration is online for NCMS members. PLEASE NOTE THE REGISTRATION CUTOFF CHANGE FOR NCMS MEMBERS – we have extended registration for NCMS members closing it out 40 hours before training; THEREFORE, NO LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE TAKEN.
After a successful registration you will receive the log on information to the event immediately on your confirmation page. Please keep this page so you can successfully log on the day of the training. NO additional emails will be sent out anymore with the information since it is provided upon successful registration.
Registration for NON-NCMS members cannot be done online anymore. To register, send an email to cathe@csconsulting-inc.com with a cc to kahare@cisco.com to request attendance. Please include your name, email address, name of company, city & state of residence/work & the name/date of the training you are requesting to attend.
To ensure you receive timely notifications of future brown bags as they open for registration, go to the link http://11janbrownbag.eventbrite.com and on the right hand side of the page there is a box titled “hosted by”. At the bottom of the box you have the ability to ‘subscribe to receive notifications of future events by this host’.
To attend you must register before the deadline.
We know things happen and/or you forget but generally you have 30 days to register.
We have things going on too and if it were just one person it would be different but
45-60 people is too much to add on at the last minute so on time registration is now
mandatory – no exceptions.
To receive a certificate of training you MUST be an NCMS member AND you must have registered separately in Event Brite in order to receive the certificate & briefing slides which will be sent within one week of the training.
- Some of you are registering and then having several (or a group) attend under one registration and then asking for certificates for those people after the training. One certificate is issued per registration and emails with names and / or lists will no longer be accepted to request additional certificates.
- Some of you are providing the log on information to personnel after the deadline and then requesting certificates. If your names not on the initial registration list AND you’re not an NCMS member we won’t be able to provide you a certificate.
Apologies to all but in order to keep this going at the level of attendance we have grown, we have to start adhering to guidelines or we’ll exhaust our personnel and have to take a break from providing brown bags. That being said we appreciate your assistance and patience in these and all matters.
Non NCMS members are allowed to attend one Meeting and two Brown Bag training events per calendar year.
Check out the Brown Bag Slides in the MEMBERS ONLY section to download documents and presentations from the Brown Bag Sessions.
